Refunds & cancellation
Inkstand provides a customized monthly website service. This policy explains how to cancel, when billing ends, and when a refund may be available.
1. Month-to-month service
The standard plan is $149 USD per month, billed in advance. There is no setup fee and no minimum commitment. Your subscription renews each month on the billing date shown at checkout or on your Stripe receipt until canceled.
2. How to cancel
Email hello@inkstand.nyc from the address associated with your account and include your business name. Send the request before your next renewal date to avoid the next charge. We will confirm cancellation by email. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period, and you will not be charged for another month.
3. Refunds
Because the service reserves design time and includes customized work, the first payment is refundable only if you cancel before substantive design work begins. Once design work has begun, that payment is non-refundable except where required by law.
Renewal payments are non-refundable after a new monthly service period begins, and we do not provide prorated refunds or credits for unused days. If you believe a charge is duplicated, unauthorized, or made after a timely cancellation request, contact us within seven days so we can investigate. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method; processing time is controlled by Stripe and your financial institution.
4. Site and domain handoff
Your site remains online through the end of the paid period unless you request an earlier shutdown. After cancellation and settlement of any outstanding balance, we will begin any eligible static-site export and domain transfer within 10 business days. Registrar rules, transfer locks, or missing account information can extend that timeline.
5. Failed payments and disputes
We may retry failed payments and suspend service after reasonable notice. Please contact hello@inkstand.nyc before starting a payment dispute so we can review the charge and try to resolve the issue directly. Nothing in this policy limits rights that cannot legally be waived.
